In all fairness, my mistake was booking in the hotel zone, where all the bars are and 20-somethings go to party. Second mistake was booking on Memorial Day weekend. There were graduation celebrations with LARGE groups of singles from around the globe partying hard, not eating enough because food is not quick and easy to come by here, and subsequently, vomiting....

Get a window seat on the plane. The sight of the bright blue waters coming into Cancun is on par with coming into Vegas for the first time.

Send an email a few days in advance to Valentina to make sure you don't get bumped and tell her you are with Cancuncare. We did and got VIP check-in and a nice room, rose peddles on the bed, etc-

grand Oasis GOV has all the makings of an exceptional luxury resort. Unfortunately the reality is nothing seems to be "followed through".
