we used the hotel to book ours, i believe they contracted it out to punta cana limo service, was super fast ( maybe 5 min after checking in at thier desk inside the airport). was the SUV, driver stoped at gas station to grab some roadies was around 200usd round trip in april. unsure at cost now
We got the free one-way transfer through the hotel as part of a promo, and my travails with reserving the free one are here: Tips For Free Airport Transfer To Tgm Promo For the return leg, K booked through Expedia.com, which was recommended somewhere else in this forum. Expedia used www.taxi2airport.com, at about $80 one-way, and the actual driver was from Solanch Transport. The drives themselves were fine. The hotel's partner company uses fancy cars, so we had a Chevy Suburban on the way to the hotel, and the Expedia contracted company brought us back in a Kia SUV. Didn't make a difference, imo, but the $70 difference sure did!
We used Mike Fischer transportation for our trip in June. Top notch, on time and private. Legit website, up front price quote and paid cash when they dropped us off. Met us at the airport with our name on a sign. Had cold drinks, water and beer.
