We booked this package on our last trip and didn't know it. We used all of the features except for the bottle of tequila at bash. Dinner on the beach was really nice and private; food was great also. We had the egg at the pool and it was ok but didn't spend much time in it because we love the pool. The spa was just ok, no big deal but was worth trying. I just booked a tower room and the package came with it so I didn't realize it until we arrived there. it was nice to have the butler but we didn't use the service except to book our dinner on the beach, egg pod, and spa experience. If I knew I was paying an extra $50/night I wouldn't have done it. It just happened to be the lowest rate at the time that I booked.
For those of you interested in going on a referral, I'd say don't do it. I have been going to TTR since 2013 and we've been there maybe a dozen times. We went this past July on a referral. (My trip review is here) Yes, the perks were nice (nicer to have seats at the pool or the welcome BBQ lunch) Unfortunately, going via referral means you have to sit through a sales presentation. The word "presentation" is being too kind, actually. For me and my husband, it became an angry tirade by an immature, unprofessional salesman. He called me a liar to my face, did not back down when I showed him proof that I wasn't lying, insulted us further, threatened us and was just a horrible, menacing person who made our trip miserable. And while I love Temptation Resort so much (I can't even stay away from this forum) I don't think I can go back, knowing how we were treated. Don't let the burden of an obligatory sales pitch ruin your awesome vacation. (Yes I did file a complaint with Original Resorts and a Premier manager. The most I got was a minimal apology)
