For me, I like different music for different scenarios. On the beach in the sun relaxing...reggae or classic rock like The Animals and The Doors. At a club...music that most people have never heard of...so I won't bother listing names but usually something dancehall reggae inspired...but rarely anything in the current top 40. I like bass heavy stuff that makes you want to dance...even some straight up miami bass ghetto booty music...it's just funny. Karaoke...Bon Jovi, Juice Newton, Dolly Parton. I'm open to a lot of music so I can blend just about anywhere.
I could not imagine a tougher job than trying to keep everyone happy while playing music for a crowd that ranges in age from 20 to 70, that is from six or so different countries (including the US), that speaks several different languages, and is from every socio-economic background known to man.
I do agree but I feel they make a very poor attempt at even trying. We go for 14 nights and after a few days you know what songs coming on next. I hate country music but I'd rather have that there than the somber stuff they play sometimes......how does it go........SHAG A HORSE AND RIDE A COWBOY LOL
But if the play that new song I'm a Bee I am leaving........I have even stopped working out to change the radio station and left a store when shopping. I hate that song makes me feel like an ostrich and I want to put my head in the sand. May see my canadian butt pointing upwards.
I like alot of music..........rock, pop, techno, country(some) and I even like a little mexican music. I am pretty easy to please.
