So there has been a lot of talk about the lacklustre music at the resort. I'm curious what would be on your ideal TTR playlist. If you want to post youtube videos, that would be cool. I like a really broad spectrum of music!
The music at TTR and BBG has always been shit. I'm a heavy metal fan and they are never going to play any of that but they could at least throw in some Bon Jovi type music to liven things up xxx
Once again i agree with Les(seems to be a patern here). Some Jovi, ac dc, nickelback, daughtry, etc...
I like some authentic music when I go to a different country - music authentic to that country I mean.:lotsofmichaelfs: But I may be a bit bias since I have to listen to that mainstream stuff each day..
I little tip to the DJ goes along way. We had a day of all rock for $20. We also had the worst music I have ever heard on a different day. It was some obscure ballad that had no place ever being played if people were around. We begged the dj to stop. He said it was a request.
rdubnpk No one is going to be happy with everything that is played which is why a variety is good. One day while we were at the pool they had a DJ who did just that, played a variety of things from Lady Ga Ga to Sweet Home Alabama to hip hop, etc. The whole pool was jumping (including my aged butt).
Yeah, I enjoy a lot of that Mexican mariachi music. Listening to Heavy Metal feels like they are sticking a fork in my ear....lol. ABBA has me looking for a fork to stick in my ear. Rap usually has me looking for a fork to stick in their ear. Techno has me reflecting on the lyrics and wondering who slipped the acid into my drink. I sound like a cranky bastard don't I....lol. Actually I do enjoy some Eminem, Bad Eyed Peas. Everyone seems to enjoy some classic Stones, Lynyrd Skynyrd, ZZ Top, Eagles, Steve Miller in the mix. A little Toby Keith would be a treat for me.
Brewster thats funny as hell. I love my metal but will also enjoy a good upbeat moden tune but I really hate hiphop and rap etc, I feel like smashing the TV every time it comes on. Lets be honest now......how many times can you listen to a song about a gangster who's been sgot loads of time and has tons of hoo's and bitches he loves to pimp out? I think i'll be slipping the DJ a few dollars to make my ears bleed with some rock lol
