I made more money in the stock market, on property appreciation and in the businesses I owned during the Clinton years than under Bush. A LOT more!

Bush has bankrupted the nation and thrown out the concept of fiscal responsibility. How anyone can still see the Republican party as the party that's good for the economy is completely beyond me. There's simply NO PROOF of that anymore, if there ever was.

Take the national debt now (10 trillion) and we will look at it in 4 years and I'd bet donuts to dollars it'll be more then that. Wonder where the cash will come from to pay for his plans. Either he cuts back on his plans or the nat. debt and/or our taxes go up.

Have you read any of Obama's books? I think if you had you would not be scared of him.

He has huge sympathy for the left, but he's an extremely practical guy. He's a politician. He will forge compromises that both sides can live with. I have no doubt that he will be very careful with money.

I'm glad you are optomistic, but I will have to wait it out and hope for the best. I haven't read any of his books, have to make a trip to the library. I do hope he has a good term.

I think Bush gets brow beat for a lot of things he didnt do alone too.
