Was just wondering if anyone had been & which one is better. Looking for seeing nature & having a break from the wildness of the city.
Went to Xal-Ha last year with the wife and totally loved it. She did the Dolphin thing and a really good day was had by the both of us. Go for it.
We all went to Xel-Ha last June and we had been to Xcaret a few years back. Everyone in the group liked Xcaret better. When I asked them why, they said that Xel-Ha was more water oriented and Xcaret had some of everything. Nature, Animals, Water Activities, and a Mexican Folklore show. Just their opinion, hope it helps.
I voted for Xel-Ha because I found it to be more relaxing all around over Xcaret. I also enjoyed the convenience of having the All Inclusive package so I did not have to consider the prices of food and beverages, which can become quite costly. That being said, I believe Xcaret offers more for families with children and the Mayan theme show at night is fantastic. CANCUN TOP 100 212eric
