I totally agree. Changes the vibe completely.N i've been there 8 times n 5 of those i was a single guy but not with 9 other guys!!!
A quick synopsis for why large groups of singles don't work well in this environment. Mind you, I said "large groups" of single males. Small groups are usually okay. Reason 1. Single guy isn't afraid to fight you. He is usually drunk and has the encouragement and backing of his 9 other drunk friends. Reason 2. Single guy isn't afraid to disrespect you or your significant other. Why? Refer to Reason 1. Reason 3. Single guy and his buddies are usually under the assumption that "fun couples" have no boundaries, which usually results in single guy crossing boundaries...which results in Reason 1. and Reason 2. We usually have bad experiences whenever I take my beautiful wife to a bar or club that is open to anyone...and it's usually from a large group of guys. On the flip side, when we go to clubs that only allow couples and single females, we have yet to experience an altercation of any sort. Just our 2 cents...
As far as changing the "vibe" of PatyO's goes, I don't think it takes agenius to figure that out. It doesn't matter where you go if there is the wrong ratio of Male to Female then you get that exact thing... primal B.S. that is stated so perfectly by MikeNSam below. We have only been to TTR 1 time and can speak from limited experience but our take in the first 2 nights there were a group of about 6-7 single guys( a few that looked like they weren't even old enough to have a driver license). Soem stood around the PatyO's dancers and were hooting and hollering at em like some wild hyenas while the others were trying to grind all over women around. We could tell that the majority of the people steered away from them and were subdued on the other side of PatyO's because of it. After they left, that is when the place started to liven up at night and you saw a general look of relaxation and fun. I agree with all of the above and without trying to play devils advocate here, you do have to consider the group. I know that a bunch of my friends, if we were to come down to TTR, without even knowing about CCC or the vibe at TTR, this is NOT the manner in which we conduct ourselves. Even FULL of liquor. We tend to mingle in a group at times but for the most part we split off into groups of 2(or 3 top's) cuz we know that a full out brigade of single guys is a death sentence. It is the complete opposite effect for a bachelorette party or a ladies bday where you have 15 ladies together. Best of luck breaking that defense! If you mess with one you mess with them all. Fact of the matter is that, yes a group that size no matter the gender will most definitely change the vibe anywhere.
