Worries about the Swinging lifestyle at TTR

We had the same reservations. My wife and I were approached on 2 separate occasions. A simple "Thank you, I'm flattered but we're not into that" was all it required. We had a blast partying with everybody it's not as intimidating as you might think.

 

This is so funny. We remember when we met you guys last year you said you were "opportunists". Awesome way to describe it. You know the saying....when opportunity knocks? lol

Probably the same people that complain about all of the swingers at TTR are the same type folks that complain that Cancun is unsafe. Problem is that they have never been to Cancun or TTR and are just repeating "something" they heard. On the Jamaica forums, some "experts" are so "blessed" that they can get an accurate feel for a resort just by riding by.
SOme folks like to go to TTR and have a great time, some folks just love to complain.

 

We didn't honestly know what to expect the first time we went! Once we got their we had a blast with EVERYONE we met and a bunch were swingers! Some of the most respectful people we talked to

 

Not in the lifestyle, but have friends that are and we like to be playful too. Prefer hanging with married couples at TTR. Younger single guys act like, well...young single guys.

Not a condemnation of all single guys at TTR. Generally speaking, the older ones have alot more cooth.

 

does anybody think there may be SWINGERS at GOV april 25-may 2.......lol....and how can ya tell ther are swingers?? is it writin on there forheads lol

We also didn't know what to expect but met some of the most wonderful people both swingers and normal. We had negative preconceptions about the swingers but we found those people to be some of our favorites. Across both catagories we met fun loving, happy and sincere people. It was nice to not have our bedtime conversations centered on "did you hug her too long when we said goodnight, I hope she wasn't offended?" Or, "I think she might have been bothered because you stood too close to him or talked to hi a little to long". Instead, at TTR, we went to bed (eventually) laughing and reliving a million little moments from the day. "Can you believe that happened! Aren't they about the coolest and hottest people ever! Can you believe they wanted US to go back to THEIR room! What If? I wonder what is going to happen tomorrow?" That week, we rediscovered some of our youthfull passion. And that had to do with respectful attention from both swingers and normal folks. We left feeling far more attractive and attracted to each other than we had in a very long time. TTR is a fabulous and magic place and it's because of the mix of people that vacation there. We wouldn't want it to be anything different.
