I have a much bigger issue with the stupid single pervs that try to sneak photos of every woman. For me, the "swinger situation" it is sorta like being at a house party and having someone come up to you and say "we are going in the backyard to smoke some weed wanna come". If you want to smoke you can go, if not you can stay where you are and keep enjoying the party. My husband and I take it as a huge compliment that someone would ask us. Would you really rather people not to find you attractive?
We are not in the lifestyle but we love going to TTR. To each his own and frankly, as a husband, I prefer being approached by friendly couples as opposed to groups of single guys (typical at other resorts) who act like they want to be your buddy so they can hit on your wife.
We are NOT in the lifestyle, but we actually feel safer in lifestyle clubs, etc., since No, means no. Like you said, in a non lifestyle club, it's possible that when some drunk guy hits on your wife, he won't take no for an answer. As far as TTR is concerned, we met a lot of friendly folks who we figured were in the lifestyle, but they didn't bother us. We actually got invited to a room party :ladiesman1: which we turned down, but that doesn't mean we weren't flattered.
Swingers don't have cooties. They have fun. But never, ever push themselves on others. No means no and they can have just as much fun doing vanilla things like bowling as they can playing with other like minded people.
Oh, BTW...if anyone is confused...both of us are on here right now...that is why so many responses LOL...Can you tell we are ready to GO
