From browsing on here I see that fat tuesdays has gone and The City might be going. Those were my two favourite clubs. Are there any plans to set up new ones? I'm thinking the govt. are making an effort to change the places image. There aren't that manby clubs to cover 2 weeks to start with. If any more go we'll be doing the same clubs 3 times in two weeks.
ha ha ha. I've just realised I've already made this post. Had a heavy night out last night. Must've been still pissed when I wrote the first one. :lol:
They deffo need some new clubs down there for sure, otherwise the clubs that are left will be so packed that it will be over crowded, I think a over crowded club is just about the worst thing ever. :shock: Where does it say about the city might be closing??? If this happens Im affraid I wont be returning again, thats just taking the piss if it does. Bye Adam
It's somewhere on here. It's just a possibility from what I read. But if it does happen it'll make the place much worse. Last year I went to Fat Tuesdays and The City twice. Surely it's a money spinner having a club in Cancun. With all the re-development happening they could knock up a good club while they're on.
dont think i could go for spring break without the city if nothing new is built! that place must make a heap of cash!
Agreed mate, if it did go and there were no other clubs that would only leave 3 places that I would want to go, Daddy O, Senor Frogs and Coco Bongos but I couldnt do that for 2 weeks no way. COME ON CANCUN WE NEED MORE CLUBS Bye Adam
plus like what has been said where would the people who would usually spread across city and fat tuesdays go. would be unable to move in clubs which is so uncomfortable and frustating i like to be able to easily just walk around and talk to everyone!.
I'm the same mate, I dont like quite clubs but I cant stand those times when it takes about half an hour to walk to the toliets then another half hour to actually get inside. Also alot more fights happen when clubs are packed, it just does my head in. Bye Adam
Think its crazy...I dont think it will close though, it is too perfect of a space...And it will take a while for the courts to bring the owner down...I can see it being sold but they'll keep it open i mean its packed year round why wouldn't you!
this is the first I have heard of the City closing?? My buddy Abe Herrera is a performer at The City, and he said nothing has been mentioned to him.
