England lost to Belgium 1-0. Both rested most of their first team so it was second string from both teams and some barely broke sweat,. Both had eyes on 2nd place for an easier onward passage and England were 'fortunate' enough to take it.

England now play Colombia on Tuesday, Mexico play Brazil Monday. Due to England's 2nd place in the group they now have no chance of playing Mexico unless both teams make it to the final.

We are hoping Mexico goes far Brazil will be a big hurdle hope Mexico sees their errors in the last game and capitalize on doing better on next game and good luck to England I hope England or Spain come out of the other groups

Mexico out, poor performance against Brazil :(

England, still in after beating Colombia on penalties and through to the quarter finals. Constant cheating by the Colombians didn't prevail.

Quarter final game against Sweden on Saturday 9am, if we win that we play Croatia or Russia in the Semi, and then we're in the final

We're rounding up the Brits who live in Cancun and going to join the tourists in the hotel zone at Carlos N Charlies for the Sweden game.

Hoping for more celebrations like this:

Wasn’t that interested before the start.

Now it’s time to believe it's coming home

Watched the Sweden game at Carlos n Charlie’s with about 30 English expats. Fairly drab game but did the job.

    Semis next.

Will be watching at Score TTR. Chinos and Sarah coming hopefully.

Sorry, I meant to say semi-finals. You can tell I'm more of a hockey fan than soccer.
