I vote not too early. I'll be back in time for quarter finals...I won't judge your choice of breakfast beverage if you won't judge mine! :daveandmo:
USA Wins! England wins! Well, there is happiness in Mudville, tonight, and in the English speaking world, generally, as both the U.S. and England have won their games, today, 1-0! Day to celebrate, all around! Thanks for the understanding, Kim, and there'll be no recriminating eyes from this quarter, either.
Wheres everyone watching England play on Sunday?. Not interested in the hotel zone as work in a hotel and really wan't to get away from Tourists!. There will be myself, possibley a few English friends from work.
Probably watching England v Germany at Gourmet Market in Hotel zone- our closest friends here are from Germany and owners of Gourmet Market are European and lots of us should be there- they also do a great breakfast baquette and coffee.
I think we are all going to Pat O'Briens - it's the best place by far for the atmosphere for England matches (although stupidly expensive!). I'm a bit worried to go there though, because I went for the first two games and we drew, then on the third I didn't go and we won... I'm the opposite, I work in downtown and never get to the HZ or see tourists If you change your mind feel free to join us.
Pat O' Briens - it's in the hotel zone next to outback steakhouse. Beer prices are stupid mate - 58 pesos for a bottle or 145 pesos for a cahuama! - Although usually the atmosphere is great. Not sure how it will be at 9am on a sunday morning though!!
Better drink prices 48 pesos will get you two local beers, at La Taberna, and Rawkus reminded us, on another thread that the one on low-lying Yaxhilan is not the only one: there is another just above the bull ring, between Bonampak and Tulum, on Sayil.
