We have most of January off for winter break. Thinking about Cancun 2nd or 3rd week of January. Is it dead then? Is there a winter break in Cancun?
There really isn't a winter break so to speak in cancun. January is not the most popular time to go (but I wouldn't say it dead though) because it can be quite chilly. Many time the pool water is too cold to get into because of there night time temps. Definitely bring long pants and a jacket for at night. You won't find many college age kids in cancun then though if that's what you're asking. It is an older crowd.
karan jan avg high of 81 and low of 67 seems pretty warm to me, maybe its cold for cancun standards though lol
