We've been in November and had a blast. You do run the risk of storms as our plane got cancelled last Halloween. If you book the risky months definitely purchase the trip insurance makes it a hell of lot easier rescheduling. I didn't and spent around 6 hours on the phone between the airline and Travelocity getting my dates changed.
