Is your organization spanish speaking? I am looking to donate my time in an organization I am interested in but also to practice my spanish.
mparry, The Community of Faith has the English speaking service at 8:55 am, followed by (Comunidad de Fe) Spanish services at 10:30 am and 12:30 pm. I think the women are meeting at the Coffee Bean, in Plaza Punta Cancun, which is pretty much in the curve if you are coming from Kabah and BEFORE getting on Tulum / Luis Donaldo Colosio, heading to the airport. I have sent an email to confirm this but it may be too late to reach you by tomorrow am.
Mparry mparry, Yep, they are meeting at 10 am tomorrow at the Coffee Bean. It looks like only 2 will be there due to various reasons. If you go they tell me they will be there from 10-11 am, sitting outside. 2 pretty ladies. The pretty lady with short, blond hair is Cherilyn and the pretty lady with the long blond hair is Laurie. Hope you can join them soon. Both are wonderful ladies. I just talked to Cheri and told her a newbie may show up. You are more than welcome to attend. They will probably be talking about the orphanage project as afterwards, they are going shopping for school clothes and supplies for the kids, thanks to some generous donations, WHICH ARE GREAT BUT WE NEED MORE HELP.

Hey, T.J., is it the Coffee Bean in Punta Tulum? I just wanted to check to avoid any confusion. I was trying to google map it as I get lost WAY too easily, and I don't see a Punta Cancun in that area but do see a Plaza Punta Tulum. Thanks!
MAVSFAN The directions to Coffee Bean, from Costco, (these are girl directions by the way) is to head like you are going to the airport. Get off Kabah like you would be going to YEK Gym but then pass the gym and stay parallel to Kabah but don't get back on it. Curve around to the right which would now put you parallel to Tulum / Donaldo Luis Colosio / Road to the airport. It will be in the corner of the first plaza on the right. If you get to Fonda Argentina not only are you too far but you are so screwed. It is in the plaza called Plaza Punta Tulum. Good luck. Hi TJ, With school starting back up, my daughter will ask her High School Spanish Club to get together and "adopt" the Orphanage you are working with. We have worked with Rescate Malix animal shelter in the past and will continue our commitment to them as well. Kids in our community have so much. My daughter said she will focus on twin sheets and plastic mattress covers as suggested on the webpage. Used twin sheets are OK, right? We'll bring stuff with us the next time we are in Cancun - possibly Oct or November.
