We will be there between Jan 18 and 25. Just wondering what the atmosphere will be like. We are a mid 30's couple looking to relax, but would also be up for a party.
All depends on what the mix of guests is like. There were quite a few partiers there when we were at the GP a couple of years back...mix of Europeans, Canadians and Americans. Be sure to check out the party vibe at the Tiki Bar, especially late at night. Also, there are usually groups from the hotel going to various night clubs every night...going with a group is usually a lot more fun than going alone. :lotsofmichaelfs:
Hey thanks, we are just wondering what to expect. We were to Cancun a couple years ago and had a great time. We kept real busy. This time we want to relax, and maybe enjoy some of the nightlife. We had so much booked before we left, we didn't have much time for anything else. This time we are going to wing it.
Thats the best way to do it, and the GP is perfect for that. You guys will fit right in. Usually many women go topless. Good entertainment staff. Great bartenders and good food. As CC said, go with the staff when you go to the clubs, and coco bongo's is a must do. The resort is small and its easy to make friends there. You will have a great time.
