your DEFINITELY right about that. Before I bought the package on my cell, it cost me like $12 for a minute calling from the room phone. Now I go through Verizon and pay an extra 17 a month on my bill and have full access to internet and calling.
With Rogers in Canada it's 10 dollars a day and there is a max of 50 or 100 dollar they will charge per month. You will have the same plan as you had back home with free calling to Canada and the same amount of data. Not a bad deal if you know it will work all week long. And you don't have to pass on any new numbers.
That's still a good deal if you call home a lot " like I call my parents and my son twice a day" before I got my plan I arrived home to a thousand US dollar phone bill!! I also like I can check my email and website. Like Donald said, phone packages are getting better!
