That doesn't work you can only use it on one computer or phone. Although you could loan your computer if someone just needed to check in at home.. Sent from my SGH-I317M using Tapatalk
If you turn right walking on the beach there are actually two bars that way. Not sure which are still open. All way to the area where the pirate ships are/were there is a bar there in a tike hut. Same place where the space needle or observation deck thing is that goes up in the air. Been over a year since I was there and not sure if it is still open. Along the way there is another bar/restaurant on the beach. This one was still open last October. its worth going to see the locals but our experience was exactly opposite regarding temperature of the beer. Could have just been the day too.
Bar wasn't open wene we were there in April May as we were going to walk and amy entertainments told us it was closed...ten min bus ride to coffee shop is free though and they do great coffee starbuckssssss
wifi question Hi good to see you enjoyed your holiday, just wondering if you can update us with the Wifi situation as we will be needing to stay in touch with my daughter in the UK. Cheers Bertie & Ann:icon_lol:
I just came back last Wednesday and can tell you it still sucks. Only lets you log in on one device. Best if the device you log in on is a phone so you can take it around. however, should you lose the connection between 2 routers, you get logged off so best to keep the password with you. The speed is never more than 1 to 2 mbs, often less and there are a lot of dead spots, for example the sports pool side of Embarcadero has no signal. I keep an open (unlocked) wifi hot spot for GSM, Sierra Wireless model bought on Amazon and have a Telcel SIM card in it which you can buy in any of the Telcel kiosks around Cancun. They will add the credit and set up the plan for you so all you have to do is insert it into the hot spot. It gets basic 4G (not LTE) with speeds of 2 to 4 mbs. You can register the SIM card on Telcels website for future use, add credit with the international top up cards here in the US then set up a plan before your next visit
Thank you for the info i was told to download an App called Viber which allows person to person calls free as long as we are both online at the same time. Do you know of any other Bars or Coffee shops in the area with Wifi. There was talk of a bar down the beach with wifi but i think it is now closed. Cheers
