Nope, it will actually kick you out and then you will have to call customer support to reset it, so use only one laptop or one Ipad, i assume this is done so that not everyone shares the wifi to save a few bucks
WOW most good hotels don't charge for WiFi in lobby. Charges only normally apply in your own room !!! rip off at $10.00 a day too.
If I'm not mistaken it was $15 a day, $60 for 5 days. Not sure. You didn't have to get a password from the little machine outside PattyOs. Pretty simple, but a lot of $$$ and yes It was only for 1 device.
We've had it for 2 weeks in the 5000 block and it's been fine. It's $80 for a week. You can only use it on one device.
Choices, use it on the phone to tweet / facebook to all of your friends or on a laptop / tablet for those days you chill out...
We just got back. Once you get connected the wifi was decent. I was able to FaceTime my son. However getting connected required guest services actually calling them and giving your IP address to the company. This process had to be repeated 3 times during the week for me , more for some others. They apparently just changed service providers and were having these problems. We do not pay for wifi (premier benefit) but I understand it is $15 per day and only 1 device
Just got back will echo last post had 4 devices and needed all to be connected was a real problem even as a premier member. Needed premier services to help get connected never worked in my room. The only bummer the entire trip
I got a Telcel sim card for my phone down there and just load on 15 bucks online before the trip to the prepaid sim. When you get there you just put the sim in and send a txt message to activate a data plan. It's about 10 or 15 bucks for a few gigs of data for up to 15 days. You can get smaller increments too. Phone also works as a wifi hotspot using that data so I would connect the laptop or wifes phone or the kindle to it whenever we wanted. Super easy. This is with an android phone on tmobile. Had good fast service everywhere we went in Cancun and isla mujeres. Tmobile also has wifi calling so with my phone as a wifi hotspot my wife was able to connect to that and make phone calls/send txts with her normal number with no extra cost. It was pretty slick. There are other posts I've made that have the plans and where the store is and stuff.
