Why is it referred to as TTR?

Omg! So funny! I've been ranting about # for the past two days - I sub and coach high school so hearing them SPEAKING in # has me on a roll. That and the song #Selfie. Ha!

    Side note finished :)

I'd been wondering that myself lol Also the middle letter tbjbg apparently. We all really like threesomes, I guess. This is where a teen would put #ohyesidid!

    Why not just T&A?

The Temptation logo has the middle T of a larger stature also so maybe it came from there.

Not that I'm that clued in when it comes to their branding, it took me months to realize they use an apple to signify Temptation in the Garden of Eden. Can you tell I'm not religious at all? lol

So much debate over an abbreviation. As a copy editor by trade, my opinion is TTR is reasonable, as it's right there in their logo Temptation Resort. Who knows where CCC came from...it's not CanCun! I always wonder where the care came from too?

These light hearted debates are a nice little harmless topic. I think both abbreviations come from the obvious hard consonant sound when you say the words out loud. CanCunCare...Temptation Resort. CCC and TTR kind of jump out at you. Now...back to the camera, chair hogging and Premier perk debate!:aktion047::angrymad:

The Care comes from all the members that look out for each other and care for each other and pull together to help those that deserve it .

Proud to be part of that.

Understood, but when Steve conceptualised (it is a word!) this site, what was the choice to call it 'care'? It works well, but if it was me that started a site about Cancun my choices would've been different - like maybe cancuntravel, or Cancun-do, or Cancun-start or Cancunfun etc.

Not that it matters. I found Cancuncare through searching if there's jellyfish in Cancun. I'm pretty certain whatever you enter into a search engine with 'Cancun', you'll get to Cancuncare within three clicks.
