Canucks after my own heart I live on ceasers through the day can be hit and miss depending on who makes it for you but they have all the goodies to make a fine drink.
Have to agree about the Mexican hospitality, the reception we received from everyone on the strip was fabulous. We stayed at TTR for two weeks Jan/Feb 2013 and would love to go back. We had the opportunity to visit restaurants, take in some shopping and even the bus drivers and persons on the bus were all great. Temptation makes you smile 24/7.
Clientele[/B]: People are people and they don't change their outlook on life or what they want from a vacation depending on where they happen to be. Mix alcohol, sunshine, adults only, topless/nakedness and fun loving people and you could have a great party anywhere. This is the part that intrigues me. Todd and I have been to quite a few AIs in Mexico and Jamaica and on some cruises. We've usually found a few fun people in every crowd...but only a few. So now I'm having this whole chicken/egg debate in my head: did the fun people find TTR and turn it into the party it is, or did TTR start the party and invite the fun people? That would make a difference, I think, whether there will be competition.
Lu lu at the quiet pool use to makes a pretty good caesar but they are not the same as ours in canada..besides the clamato being a bit different they dont have worshestershire or celery salt. I threaten to bring it but always forget.. in a pinch they are better than nothing.
Another to add My better half will be the first to tell you that she prefers "Mexico Darren." For me, I have a very public job and a natural tendency to be reserved. We came to TTR in 2012 for the first time (Mar 2014 will be trip #3), and agree with so many of the things said in these posts. The one we will add is that we feel it is Spring Break for the 40-somethings (or 30-somethings, 50-somethings, etc.). I lived at home for my first degrees due to finances and never experienced Spring Break, or even ridiculously crazy, uninhibited parties because I was always working. TTR allows me (us) to be the person I wanted to be when I had the energy, body and liver to do so. Now I have the finances and can rest when I am retired! Nobody knew me before trip #1, and nobody (still) gives a shit!! Kudos to Sam and Robin's #1, 6 & 8. And especially to Fredmgill's #1 and #2!
Confusess says Steve is a pretty smart guy and I like the way he thinks. I agree great people are great people, they are all over. Temptations just seems to recruite them. We all have the same free spirit in common. Don't fear change, we grow the fastest when we step outside the box and we make friends easier when we let them in our hearts. I like that we may have more choices in the future.
