Great post. Thanks Sam and Robin! Sure, it's not a 5-star resort where even your napkins are lined with gold...but the atmosphere is great, the people are wonderful and that's what makes it a great vacation place.
I hope I never get so OLD as to complain about TTR by saying "If I see another naked boob I am going to throw up"!!!

Love the post, but especially the reason for it. You're exactly right, there have been so many negative posts about such a fun place. We may go a little over the top in our praise at times, but I've never found a place where it's warm and as much fun.
I like that I have met 100's of friends on our 19 trips. I like that TTR is the one place where noone judges you. I can be naked in the pool(secretly), commando on foam night, balance a drink on my head, dress slutty, wear clothes, wear no clothes,hug and kiss everyone, twerk a few,get twerked back, kiss a stranger, bring shot to complete stranger, do a body slide at Paty'os, dance in the rain in heels, barefeet, flip flops, or in cowboy boots. I love that the themes unite Cancuncare peeps and the fun we have with them. I love that we can be outrageous and enjoy people. I love that people put their phones away and spend time with the company at hand. I love the bartenders, maids, wait staff, and entertainment staff that work so hard for our trip. TTR is a one of kind resort and with that comes an amazing vacation that you only wish you could tell the kids about, maybe in the future. Right now it our place. And I love that those special friendships made here extend to facebook, home and other vacation locations as well.
There are very few places we feel more comfortable letting lose. And the fact that we get to see old friends again and make new ones every year makes it so much easier to go back. There will always be areas that can be improved, but if it was so bad, why would we keep coming back? We'll be back this June and many Junes thereafter.
I know I've seen Monique do everything in that post. And I think I may have been on the receiving end of a few of them... lol

I think you pretty much summed it up sam i just love it we haven't had a group like our first year but this trip is looking very promising wish you and robin could have made it but I'm sure we will all be back together at some point
