My wife gave me the job of researching all-inclusive resorts. I spent a couple of weeks going through reviews and comparing prices. I narrowed the list down to 3 and sent her links to 5 review sites for each location. Eventually she told me that whichever one was closest to the airport was fine by her. I assumed she had read at least some of the reviews but she hadn't and didn't realize Temptation was topless optional until after we booked. She was a little freaked out before we got there but we both had a great time and plan to return again this year.
I was doing business in Merida and my wife had spring break. Being that our first child was a year old and we only do adults only, I suggested blue bay. She flew in and I drove over from Merida for a 3 day weekend of boobs and boobs. The best part was the next two weeks at home.

Sam had to go to LA for a meeting, so he booked a flight to LA and I booked to Cancun. Sam joined me on the fourth day and I was a little nervous when he asked "so, what have you been doing?" Turns out, it was all good. Whew!

While Mrs Shiner and I were interested, the friends, not so much. We decided to jump in and do it, they did not, and we have not regretted it a bit. It's all her fault..... and I love her for it! Our story went something like this: We'd never been on a beach vacation together and one day in late February 2014 I got a mid-day text from her saying, "Hey, you've been pretty stressed out lately, would you consider a vacation? I sent you an email with a place we might like, check it out. It's in Cancun, adults only, topless optional, and all-inclusive." My reply was simple, "Book it!" Trip #3 is coming up this April.
