Then 4 months later I'm like - this resort is EVERYTHING we're looking for. Book it. Now. It was my idea for a birthday present to myself this year(birthday is in July but we have a wedding like every weekend in July). I told her about it and then showed her this sight and she was cool with it. It didn't take any convincing on my part. I love Mexico and hubby likes road trips to get my way this year his 50th was February 3 so for his birthday gift I said let's do another resort like Hedonism which we did once. He was all in so had travel agent check this one out and booked it! Was a little leary based on reviews and ratings but found this cancuncare and are beyond excited. Never spent more time shopping for so little clothes. We will be married 20 years in September and always hated shopping together till now! He actually gave someone advice on where to shop the other day! And the trying out outfits and running to the mailbox has us acting like we are newlyweds again!:xyxthumbs:
Friends of mine mentioned it to me (male) and I mentioned it to her, she then went and did some research before giving me the answer. We both liked the idea of it being all adult as we wanted to be together and not have to worry about little ones being around. We enjoyed it so much that a return trip was most definitely in order. And that lead to one more than one more after that and so on and so on
Joel and I wanted to go somewhere we had never been for our 20th wedding anniversary. I told him anywhere in Mexico but NO KIDS! Didn't want to be watching someone's 2 year old playing by the pool while the mom laid in a chair reading haha. When I started reading the reviews of TTR I was VERY SKEPTICAL! Wasn't sure at all what I was getting myself into! He told me to give it a chance and if I wasn't comfortable we could stay by the quiet pool. Well here we are 8 trips later and not even sure I've ever seen the quiet pool !! Best vacation spot ever ! Paula

My wife suggested we try it. Living in the UK at the time, we visited Cancun every year but always stayed at different hotels and did the sightseeing thing. Jannet, having lived in Cancun before, thought I might like Blue Bay Getaway. We tried it and liked it so much that cancuncare.com happened. Two years later we moved to Cancun to live, and now although we live about 5 miles from TTR we stay fewer nights than when we lived 5000 miles away.
Had my eye on this place for years.....mumbled something about it now and then.....one day she kinda sorta under her breath suggested it but not really....that was my green light so I ran with it
