I bought a pair of no name sunglasses at Chinatown yesterday for $8. No point in me buying expensive sunglasses. I'd just lose them in a few months. I shouldn't be allowed to own anything expensive now I think about it. I lost my cell phone last year in Cancun. I lost my camera the New Years Eve before that. Last night I went out and got too drunk and lost my mp3 player. I just ordered a new one. Hopefully it'll get here before the Cancun trip.

bought bottles every night last year and here's the pros and cons:

    pros:
    1. you skip the long lines
    2. you get a table with a waiter and a good view of any shows
    3. you have a place to sit if you want to relax for a minute (which you don't)

    cons:
    1. you spend entirely too much money
    2. you end up spending too much time in one part of the club. if you walk away you will come back to 1,000,000 strangers at your table that will not leave, even if security tells them to.
    3. some people get jealous. we had a few guys with no shirts on (yea those tuff guys) trying to pick fights with us because we had tables and bottles.

the only reason we bought bottles was usually to skip long lines. when the trip was all said and done, i had wished i didn't spend all that money because when you are in cancun, you want to be all over the club and checking out everything and everyone.

i don't even remember the prices. i think gray goose is about $200 a bottle? it wasn't overly expensive but they are smaller bottles (with paper seals by the way...im pretty sure the bottles were filled with cheap liquor)
