Welcome to the 21 century. You can view/change your seats online and you can check in online too. www.seatguru.com is a great site to view which seats are good ones before you select your seat on the airlines website. But most of the good seats are probably reserved for elites.
nah henry for charter flights in canada, you have to pay for seat selection. the only time i didnt have to was wehn i booked directly with air canada for a flight to philly.
That just means that Canada is still in the 20th century... I'd pay the $15 anyway, especially for a 4+ hour flight.
