I am certainly no expert on Mexican law but I believe the CDW is legally sufficient in terms of your concern. Whether or not it is financially sufficient in the event of an accident that damages the rental car is another question. I suggest you read the CDW and the LDW provisions and determine if you want to pay the extra $10 or so per day for the full coverage.
