We are going to rent a hummer (and also 2 motorbikes to race on but not everyone knows about this yet) - today we were debating who would be the best to drive it. You will all vote on this matter?
Adam Clancey without fail.. although he is a fast driver, he is the most likely to not be under the influence if forced to drive!
As a Hummer owner i must warn the driver. Just be gentle with the throttle as 340PS and 500 Nm Torque isnt a thing you should underestimate. So i vote for a woman , they are more responsable BUT THIS THING IS FUN TO DRIVE. So Herd, enjoy it
Nic Do yhoo own a hummer for real? I vote nobody should drive it because we are all idiots! However baring in mind that only 3 of us actually have driving licences I feel this may limit the choice some what? Prehaps we can both drive at the same time like before Mcsmee? Bye Adam
Mad-Ad, Yes i still own a used H1 ( but have to sell it soon) . And i say for myself as an experienced driver: Dont underestimate the power, the dimensions and the weight! Its so big that you will stuck with it in nearly ervery garage or multi-storey car park. Finding a parking lot is nearly impossible . You need the double lenght of a normal car and one and half the width. And please folks, if drive it, be gentle with the throttle. This this is becomes a weapon if not used wisely. Last things we all want is that someone gets hurt, only for beeing one moment heedless. And remember if you rent this car and make an accident just because you are lightheaded: This is toy costs about 75000 pounds! And even replacement/spare parts a extremly expensive. So dont waste your livelihood just for a dumb moment. And the fuelussage of nearly 25-30 liters per 100 km is also a thing to think about.
