So one of our portfolio managers was in Vegas this past weekend. I guess one of his friend is a high roller at the Hard Rock so they got comp'ed stay and cabana at Rehab (next to the stage where Akon was performing). Out of his group of friends who went, only two made it to work today. I can't wait.
Last time I went to Rehab and took the redeye home, I never made it to work either. So the rule of thumb for going to Rehab is to make sure you have Monday off.
I have booked off the week preceding Vegas and dont return to work till the 8th September. Have I left allowed preparation / recovery time    Ian
not as many as you by the look of you little trip schedule... I get 3 weeks plus around 7 or 8 personal/sick days.
Depends on your employer and in some lucky cases how long you have been with said employer. This year I've got seven and a half weeks ( I carried a week over from last year I failed to use ), plus all the bank holidays ( chrimbo, easter, may day all that other bollocks). There is legislation in Europe to which our Goverment has part signed uptoo ( called The European Work Time Directive ) thats states you are allowed four weeks paid holiday per year by your employer and that your average working week must not exceed 48 hours . Ian
Most my trips are short weekend trips. I try to include long weekends if possible. I used 2 days for Rome, 3 days for Cancun, and 4 days for Taiwan. Milwaukee trip won't cost me any. Either would SF trip. Hong Kong trip is for work. I'm only taking one day off for Vegas trip. I'll use another 4 for my trip home for my sister's wedding in December. That's all I got.
I get 26 Days plus about a week off at christmas, I think there is about 3 bank holidays through the year I get them off to.
