LOL, Remember you told that guy from Kentucky, he would be getting sloppy seconds. I wish I took some footage of his body language after that, it was hilarious. Then to top it off you threatened to knock him out. LOL
Looks like a go go go with this one buddy! I'd definitely be up for that PS It took me a while to find the topic didn't see it had been made a stiky!
Has anyone actually been on this ' too good to believe offer ' ? . I'm not putting a dampner on it but dont want us wasting time and cash on something that could turn into a free bottle of luke warm fizzy wine between ten of us in the back of a cab and free entry into some dungeon club . Joe, you heard of them :?: :?: Also, we're thinking of doing the helicopter ride down the strip one night, prices are about $88 and I'll be looking to book it nearer the dates, anyone else interested :?: Ian
Personally, I don't know if I want spend money on a helicopter ride. If you want awesome view of the strip, go to the Mix Lounge (on top of TheHotel at Mandalay Bay) or Ghost Bar (on top of The Palm). If you do it Thursday night, it'd probably be free and easy to get into those places. Don't know how busy those places will get that Friday or Saturaday nights. You can't take good night pictures from a helicopter anyway.
Yeah, fair point regarding the taking of piccies and what to do Thursday night Henry( MixLounge sounds good after travelling all day ) but I've never done a helicopter ride down the strip and thought for the sake of $88 it'd be worth the experience. Ian
Maybe you should save the money for a helicopter tour of Manhattan the next time you come to CT. That's much more interesting I think. More things to see from the air.
That was the main thing I wanted to do when I was there in Feb 2003 but couldnt as all the airports were snowed in, hence the 16hr train ride to from Toronto  . Definately doing that next visit though. Ian
Spoke w/ my Grandmother today she should have some solid information on the Condo tomorrow or the next day. She gave me a list of the resorts I can choose from and been looking some of em up. However most of them we can only check in on Fri/Sat/Sun. We were looking to check in on Thursday 08/28/08 so the only one she listed so far that allows Thursday check in is The Jockey Club. Anyone know anything about the Jockey Club it's right across the street from Planet Hollywood and beside The Bellagio. Still in the works but we'll have more solid info shortly. I am also going to look into the cost of flying VS driving as well.
