Would you pick Iberostar Del Mar or RIU in Playa del Carmen and your reasons why. Also would like to do the dolphin, manatee, and sea lion swim in Puerto Aventuras. Has anybody done this activity and how far from each locations it is and what would be the best way to get there. We will have a party of 7 with kids ages of 20,19,17,11
Dolphin Discovery at Puerto Aventuras send buses to your hotel in PLaya to collect you for the swims. Have a great time. Tracey
I would choose the Riu because you are very close to 5th Avenue in Playa del Carmen. You could walk if you were so inclined...but it's probably about a mile or so. The Iberostar complex is probably about 20 minutes from Playa del Carmen and you'd have to take a taxi there. Puerto Aventuras is south of Playa del Carmen so Riu would be closer than the Iberostar.
