Which room to try and get?

Would a crisp new twenty-dollar-bill at check-in help with securing a room request?


And lastly, would a room near the sexy pool be a prime location?

 

If you ask nicely you get what you want. Ask for the double shower head those are just behind the sexy pool very nice. We asked for double shower 1st or second close to the sexy pool and got 5113 which was perfect. down 8 steps and on the path to the pool.

 

All of this talk about the rooms is getting me so excited about our trip in four weeks. The last time we stayed we were on the 3rd floor facing the "sexy" pool (it was called the 'fun' pool then). We never had any problems with the noise but like Floridafun said, dragging my drunk husband up those stairs was perilous. I asked for a 1st or 2nd floor room this time. After reading all of these comments, I kind of wish for a 1st floor room.

 

Glad I convinced you to ask for a lower floor...we will definately ask for 1st floor next time...when we were guests of Premier members back in 2005 and 2006, we had 1st floor rooms in the old section D w/ sliding doors leading out to the sexy pool, my favorite room ever!

 

I might have said this a million times by now, but the only perk i love about my premier membership is getting the rooms on the ground floor right in front of the sexy pool, two trips ago, I had I belive 3105, right on the corner, quiet at night and open the patio door and its two steps to the sexy pool

 

Or it could be because your up before any of the staff get there. Damn time change, lol

 

Yes we have seen this work for several people however we have also seen a desk clerk get fired for this as it is against the rules as we were told.

Yes the rooms by the sexy pool are our favorites however they are normally reserved for Premier & RCI members.

first and foremost i dont have to walk up and down the stairs to get to the room and when you have been drinking or after you just arrive - last thing in the world you want to do is be a stairmaster

i walk out the back door and i am in the sexy pool. i walk out the front door and im at patty o. i walk down the hall to my left (after walking out the door) and i am at the jimmy buffet (embarcadero buffet)

the only thing i need to bring to make this room perfect is some good ear plugs

I'm curious about that too. Going to be dissapointed if the jacuzzi rooms don't have this as well.
