we reserved a jacuzzi room. are they all on the first floors? (with no privacy - what if you want to get in naked? it looks like a big bathtub anyway). sounds like a waste now, dang-it!

THey have curtains that cover your balcony, its a big roll down shade type thing and that side of the resort is not that busy, so if the curtain is closed or heck for that matter open, you should have no problem lol

We had a double. When looking at the map, we were in the last upper left building facing the courtyard with another building on the other side. We were on the 2nd floor and behind us were the rooms facing the Marina/Beach volleyball courts. I believe the room number was 5721. Altough we were in the farthest building, it was a very quick walk to the sexy pool's Jacuzzis and probably no more than 3 or 4 minutes of slow walking to events/restaurants on the other side.

I don't mind having a room away from everything. If you forget something and have to run back it is a pain. If you want to take a nap in the afternoon which we sometimes do after a long night of partying, it is nice a quite. When you head back to your room it can be really romantic. The Gardens are very nice at night. So take a long walk one night alone.

Actually not all of them do. We had 1108 which does not have a curtain. The one next door, 1109 or 1110? also did not. (cant remember if the side is all even or sequential). The reason was it was where two buildings connected so there was no overhang to hang the shade on. I believe there is another spot where this happens also. So out of 30 or so jacuzzi rooms probably 4 dont have shades.

As you point out, we noticed some people who had the shade didnt even bother.

The biggest negative in our opinion was the size. You are right in saying it is like a bath tub. Snugly fits 4.

jcogle, little advice, get to know the quiet pool bartender. If you tip him well he will bring drinks right to your hot tub! Now that was service! Ours was Alphonso or Alfredo??? I have to go back and read my trip report to start remembering all of this stuff. 4 months and I start forgetting everything. Need to get back soon!

    Enjoy!

You guys can have the rooms by Patty'Os. We did not mind the late night noise but the early morning clanging of pots and pans was too much for us.
