We have 4 kids, 8 to 16. I have never found the ability to book a trip online with more than groups of 5. I am concerned about safety, adjoining rooms or a room that could accomodate all (would hate to book a trip and arrive to find out our rooms are not adjoining) want a nice place with good experience for the kids, all inclusive.

If anyone has any experience or recommendations, it would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

The Royal Resorts are not all-inclusives.

But, renting a villa at one of the Royals would be very nice for a family.

You will have a kitchen, so cooking some meals will save you some pesos.

Also, check the Ambiance Villas. They have 3 bedroom suites available.
IMO, the Ambiance has the best beach in Cancun!

I am not an Omni fan (I found the food there to be very mediocre, and the
drinks are very watered down) but the Omni has villas,
large enough for your family, too.

The Hyatt Caribe may have villas, too.
I know they used to, years ago.

Great ideas, thanks for the input. We will look into both places. Sure would be nice to be at an all inclusive, but I know that may be difficult. It would be nice to know how much we are spending before we head out.

Also considering another adult trip for "Mom and Dad" but that will be much easier to pick.

I agree that the Royal Resorts have wonderful facilities, however All Inclusive is often a good "Piece of Mind" thing. For an excellent All Inclusive resort for families, I recommend the Riu Cancun.
