hey guys and gals and jessie, i know i have been gone for a little while. im sure most of you have been thinking geez, where is nerd dawg been, or others of you might have been thinking hmm i miss those pizza licious threads. well guess what im back, and stronger than ever. i have been trying to get out of the pizza business, none the less i still love eating pizza and those tasty crispy crunchy chicken kickers. i am now attending school and am looking to find internship with professional companies. so i basically need all of your advice on how to land the job, and types of questions to ask during interviews. after all im sure if i talk to them about pizza they wont be impressed. if i land this internship i could possibly save up $$$$$$$$$$ and work things out to meet you all and buy you all mucho pizza's in cancun. (and go on my date to papa jons with apple.)
welcome back dude i'm sure you'll have loads of transferable skills from the industry - customer facing/service skills etc etc, you just gotta work out whats what and embellish a little bit monster jobs have a good section on writing CVs and good tips for interview techniques, .. this might help you out http://content.monster.co.uk/section323.asp all the best mate
If you display half as much passion about the internship as you do for pizza i'm sure you'll do fine... My best advice for interviews is BE POSITIVE also if they ask u sumthing you dont know ASK what they mean cos most companies/people I have met prefer honesty over most things
i must admit,i have noticed something missing from the site recently....in any case, welcome back and good luck with the job search
