Another vote for New Orleans. Especially at Mardi Gras--it's got the same "Nobody knows you and nobody gives a s**t" vibe as TTR.

Agree with Vegas. We also love Key West.

Fantasy Fest - Key West is def one on our bucket list. Haven't been but the pics are awesome. Lotta fun. Actually wanna rent a place right on Duval St. It'll cost but certainly worth it to do at least once!

Puerto Vallarta at the end of the month for a quiet vacation. We like Vegas, Cabo and the Dominican

We did puerto Vallarta for a babymoon. Loved pv for a quiet vacation with great restaurants.

For the party, besides for TTR, we enjoy Bare at Mirage Las Vegas and Revel or Borgata in Arlantic city. Been years since New Orleans and want to get back there at a non mardi gras time. Hear great things about jazz fest.

    • Burning Man.
    • Fantasy Fest. (It's like Mardi Gras for grown-ups.)
    • Las Vegas topless pools.
    • Friends' hot tubs. (We're very selective with our friends: if you have a hot tub, we're in.)

One resort I have been considering trying in the future if I ever want a change of pace is Club Ambiance on the north shore near Runaway Bay in Jamaica. It is a smaller report, adults only with a topless optional pool and beach. It also has a Clothing optional beach.
Prices are comparable to Temtations. maybe slightly higher. But I have never been so I can't say if the energy level is as high as TTR. Some how I doubt anywhere has the energy level of TTR.

the best thing about new orleans the weekend of September 6-8 is that WE pretty much own the hotel montelone and the quarter on that weekend - approximately 80 % of the group is cancuncare people (or cancuncare people and their friends)

with over 100 rooms in our block for the weekend at just $145.00 per night its a cant miss great time

-awesome meet and greet with a band on friday evening
-parade through the quarter featuring the storyville stompers and everyone decked out in costume
    - a pub crawl through the quarter with approximately 200 people and sponsored by pat obriens and several other great bars

its hands down the best time to go ----- cause you already know who will be in attendance and know that its going to be a one helluva party

great fun in great city with great people for a great cause = hands down the best place for TTR people to go :)

    so everyone come join :)

    rob

ps - if your joining this year you might want to go ahead and make your reservations as over 50% of the allotted rooms are already booked and going fast
