We went to Hedo a few years back and as Edward - Alli have said there was more open sex there than at TTR. More for the swinger crowd than the party crowd, and I don't need anyone jumping on me if that's your thing. I'm not judging just stating a fact, while at least when we went that's how it was. We remarked how totally different it was from TTR, where TTR has the adult spring break party vibe and the games around the sexy pool, where at Hedo the atmosphere was totally different the staff didn't seem all that interested in getting the party started. We spent most of our time on the nude side and there is something to be said about the au' natural way of tanning. We like the non-judgmental vibe at TTR
This got me thinking. I've often jokingly said that Ali and I don't really travel we just visit bars and beaches in other countries. This question leads me to think that other people do the same. We've been to Mexico over a dozen times now and the only culture I've experienced outside the resorts is as we drive by on the transport. I often think it'd be nice to go see some Mayan ruins or something but the truth is I'm quite comfortable on the resort or in the sanitized for tourist habitats in the hotel and tourist zones. I've got friends who've "traveled" and do much the same thing so my thought is, are we really world travelers or just partiers who like to think we are? I'm pretty damn fine with a beach bar where the price is cheap and the service is excellent, regardless of the country
yeah... TTR is the best - it has great "time to market" (short flight, quick ride to resort), Caribbean water, decent booze, sexy vibe (open exposure and use of private parts of all sizes would be too much - can lose my appetite), ...and most important - abundance of fun people
Couples TI is awesome (Honeymooned there), but NOWHERE near Temptation-like. VERY quiet & laid back, no "dance club" or anything like that on resort (at least not 2 years ago). It was dead by 8-9 pm. It is adult only & AI, and does have "Naked Island", but it's not a "party" resort by any means. Plus it was about 4K for 7 days. It was pretty, and relaxing, but we were bored by day 2.
