The most trip report I saw was from @Restling from early October (it was a great report!) I love reading reports: the good, the bad, the ugly and the OMG I know I can read some on TripAdvisor and other travel sites, but this forum is where it's at
Very few people write them any more. Social media has become discussions using 10 words or less. (thanks Facebook) That said there are some from the last year in the main forum that got buried, that I havent moved over to the trip report forum. Will try and search them out and get them moved across.
It just strikes me that so many people will post to the monthly roll calls. It's great to see people planning things together, Boobs cruises, room crawls, toy exchanges, or even just people posting about how excited they are for their vacation. Then weeks, months pass and hardly anyone reports how their trip went. Again, I love reading all about the trips: the good parts and even the bad.
I haven't posted a trip report in about 4 years. I'll pay it forward and do one after my next trip next week. We're finally making use of the member's yacht this year, so will at least have something new to talk about!
We enjoy reading trip reports so much but guilty of not posting… we always start one on the plane on our way back with the best intentions… does that count?
I’ve written my fair share but I’m sure I’ve laxed in the last few years. I enjoy them no matter how many times I’ve been there….I’ll do better and write another one this year.
