Booked yesterday with Sunquest (westjet charter direct to and from Ottawa) for 10 days for 2 - 3660$ for 10 nights! Did it through Itravel2000, got a better than lsited price by calling and a 75$ pre-paid visa... From April 14th to 24th!
booked trough a travel agent...my sister. She matched Itravel2ooo price . We got 10 days for 3875.00 all in . We leave Jan 28th. Dollar was better when we booked a month ago.

I was ready to book until I noticed the pricing with those codes comes up in $US, which is the first time I've seen Westjet pricing in non-$Can. I had already checked this morning and saw a no promo code minor sale price for a return flight we want. The promo code $US price for that flight shows as being the same or higher. Back to the price watching board. edit: OK, weird. When the promo is entered for return flights pricing is Canadian but for one-way (from Cancun) it prices in USD.
I got a 200$ saving from yesterdays pricing , but when I try to package a hotel, it goes back to regular , and when I look at hotel individually the price is stupid. 425 from Ottawa is still a great price pp return.
We paid $2850 CDN all taxes in for 2 people for 8 days through Sunwing. Some people have had some issue with Sunwing, but they worked out great for us last year. The direct flights from Toronto (Pearson) are great times too. 10:15 am departure and 3:50 pm return. That price also includes return shuttle from Cancun airport. The key is to price out your vacation with different departure dates. If you are flexible, you'll find quite the ranges of prices. Leaving on a Thursday saved us $500 over leaving a day before or after.
