Kelly, I'm liking your physical therapy routine a lot better than what they put me through today. It's been 9 weeks since my back surgery, and I'm finally starting to feel like I'm getting back into the grove... It's funny what you said about not being able to dance in heels...I can't dance WITHOUT heels! Even with 3 ruptured discs in my back I still couldn't help wearing my heels when we went out. It was only the last few weeks before surgery I had to finally give them up. I'm a chiropractor's nightmare.... I'll save the flip-flops for the pool...
Liz after two back operations I know what you are going through. PT is a lot of pain but it's worth it. After all was healed I felt great and could do just as much as I could before. We look forward to meeting you and Chad there. Jim and Deb
Thanks for the encouragement! So many people slam surgery when it comes to backs but when I started losing feeling in my foot and leg, and developed a limp, (not to mention the shooting nerve pain) I didn't have any other choice. While the healing process has been slow, I'm glad I went through it. Unfortunately my doctor kept me in my back brace a little too long, but so far PT has been very beneficial. Can't wait to meet everyone in October!
