They,re all at the Toronto airport , cause they can't get home. Friends came in yesterday, Landed at 1;30am, sat on the tarmack till 5;30, luggage did not come out for another 2 hours,730, am,, connecting flight cancelled, no buses , no trains , no hotel rooms, ,,solution , $700 dollar cab ride home.
One of the factors is that at -40 workers can only work 20 minutes out side then have to come in and warm up for 40 Canadian Labor rules which the union probably makes sure there enforced, I wonder if they due that in Moscow or Edmonton, or Calgary ?
Drove out to Winnipeg years ago from Peterborough, took about 27 hours which is only about an hour out of Ontario…… We used to make Daytona Beach in under 24.
