Glad you are brewing some decent beers finally in US and be fantatstic to be able to come try them but will take a while to catch up with us lol.
As for beer apart from penguin these are all readily available in the local supermarket Adnams Broadside Ruby beer and they even make a Spirit of Broadside whisky from the beer amazing stuff. 6.3% Adnams Innovation IPA 7.2% and wait till you have tried a bottle of Tactical Nuclear Penguin the strongest beer in the world brewed in the UK and wait for it 32% sold as single bottles. When then go into Ciders Thatchers Katy Medium Dry @ 7.4%, Westons Henry vintage comes in at 8.2% amazing stuff i could go on and on. Dont judge us by the Guinness you get over there we export all the rubbish as most would be able to handle a proper pint lol
But i am actually more of a spirit man myself being an Mixologist and cocktail maker hence i ended up mixing our groups shots while the bar staff served other people lol

Thank you.. And very well spoken.
It's been my experience that any beer that's produced in say 10,000 gallon batches or larger tend to lose something in translation. There are several brews from here that have gone national. Widmer and Deschutes for example. While still very good ales, the product that gets distributed on an national scale pale in comparison to their original small batch recipies. A handcrafted artisan beer that someone took the time to perfect is a manna worthy of drinking on Mt. Olympus. I don't care what country or region it came from.
Last year I took a trip to the Frankonian region of Bavaria in Germany and drank biers that came from centuries old recipies, in small breweries that only distribute regionally. My god!! I have never tasted anything so magnificent. Rausch biers, Keller biers, and insane Hefewiesens. Frankly I thought I was ruined for life.
You are correct to say not to judge a regions beverages by what is exported. And please forgive America for Busch, Bud, Coors, Miller and the like. I too can drink myself sober on the stuff. But, it to has its place. I love hanging out on my boat in the summertime with a frosty red Solo cup of Bud..
    Everything has its place!!!

Have to agree, thought rouge out of newport was good as well, had some great beers in pittsburgh as well. But the run of the mill amrerican beer is where i was going, canadians can handle booze better because we have to put alcohol in the water systmes so they dont freeze up.... We build a good tolorance to it...:ernaehrung024:

Bubba kegs were originally invented by Forrest Gump's friend in Bayou LaBattery Lousianna and used to keep his "Skrimp cocktails" cold on the boat. In Vietnam, Gump used one give to him to keep his Dr. Pepper cold. After Bubbas death, Gump's friend Lt.. Dan stole the mug and nearly drank himself to death with it. After sobering up, Lt. Dan sold the rights to the device to Monty L Allen, Kenneth C Kreafle and Leon J Scott of InZone inc. of Georgia, in 2004. He and Gump became Multi-Gyzillionaires while immortalizing Bubba forever!!!

LOL, i was being sarcastic with my question, seeing most of these post on this thread by Canadians keep saying that we Americans cant drink, and they keep referring to their bubba kegs as proof that they are drinkers, i just found it humorous that the mug they base their drinking skills on was invented by an American who apparently didnt drink. poor attempt at humor on my part
