Tell them you go to some place called Blue Bay something or other if ya can't just tell them the truth, that you go to the Greatest Place on Earth!
We were having a few drinks with another couple one night last week, and were sharing some Mexico vaca stories, and they were very convinced that TTR was a "swingers" resort. We told them that there were probably as many swingers at the vanilla resort that they had just been at, and they were not buying that fact.
For our 1st trip we would tell folks we were going to Riu but now we got to a point where we don't really care and just tell everyone we are going to Temptation resort. Then the questions come and now we have friends that want to tag along now lol.
TOTALLY AGREE. stop caring what other people think. It's your life, and you only live once. If everyone would stop pretending to be something they aren't, we would all be better off. I tell people straight up we are going to Temptation Resort, it's a fun and sexy, liberating time for uninhibited adults who love to be silly and laugh and have a great time!:lotsofmichaelfs:
Telling people that they don't need to worry about what other people think reminds me of friends who want to go to Vegas and gamble with my paycheck. Heck, when you have nothing to lose, it's all easy!!
Hey that's the one I took a pic of the sign "just in case" LOL But now that I read your review, there's a kid in the pic! So that won't work. Although I've held off on sharing the name of Temptations, I do tell EVERYONE its an adults only resort over 21 & its like "spring break for adults" So I guess, unless they actually go look it up, giving that name for now would work. Thanks Brad! Oh and the point about people jumping to conclusions that TTR sounds like a swingers resort...one of Kev's friends keeps teasing about that. It gets annoying. But we just keep reminding him, there are swingers everywhere, we've met plenty at TTR, we've also met plenty of friends who aren't! We love them all! Everyone is just there to have a good vacay!
