Looks like there is a chance of rain everyday we will be at Temptations this trip. Other than the most obvious answer what happens at Temptations when it rains? Does Bash move indoors? How active is the pool?
I find accuweather to be the most accurate for Cancun weather. It really doesn’t show anything for next week. Check the day by day, and as long that it’s less than 40% chance, less than 3 hours of precipitation, and less than .2 inches of rain. You’re fine. It really shows nothing at all. If it does rain, the sky bar pool is a good spot, because it’s much warmer. Also the big hot tub. If it’s a warm rain there is usually still plenty of people in the pool. We were there for hurricane Zeta last fall, and they moved to the lobby bar for the nighttime Bash activity.
as long as it isn't lighting the pool will stay open ..and generally everyone just stays put it is really funny you see people in the pool it will rain just a little and they run out of the pool and go inside .. I am like wait your in a pool your already wet ..lol if it rains at night if its just a light rain they will cover the dj booth and just keep going we just danced in the rain when it stops they squeegy everything and go back to the party we only got patches of rain on our last couple of trips so not sure what they do with constant rain now
Rain is kind of unpredictable there. So if there is a 50% chance, i think there is a 50% chance it will rail somewhere around Cancun that day. It could be a few minutes, it could be a downpour. A 100% chance usually means get ready to get wet. One of our best nights ever at Bash was lingerie night in a rainstorm. Hot wet bodies dancing in the rain without a care in the world.
We've noticed there is always a chance of rain in their forecast. However, when it does rain it usually blows in off the ocean and generally passes through. It seems like it's usually over in 20 minutes or so, unless it's a tropical storm. Those are the only extended periods of bad weather we've seen. To the positive side, when that happens the parties usually break down into hallway and room events, with far fewer restrictions. They can be really fun!
