Any suggestions on which company to rent a car from for the 7 weeks we'll be there starting late February? The key is not necessarily the company itself - but the best deal for the 7 week term.
Buy an old VW Bug for $1000 usd and sell it when you leave...and if it breaks down on you it's part of the "adventure". I have no idea about longterm car rentals here. But there are lots of little independent rental places here. If it were me I'd research the price of the big car rental companies before I come. Then once here I'd go into the little car rental shops and beat them up for a good price.
