Yes thats after tax. It was actually $505 before the stupid taxes. But even now that same trip is over $630 pp before tax.
Thanks I just like to know I got a good deal and if we could go again if there would be a cheaper time.
If you intend on returning many times (become an addict), then you might want to haggle a good premiere membership. It is definitely cheaper if you get the right deal. We too fly out of Toronto and always get a good room rate, but yes TO airfare is a killer. But if you are willing to transfer, Buffalo can be a great alternative. When your room rate is already low, you can cope with pricey air. Another advantage is there is almost always rooms available for members and they don't get bumped.Membership has perqs if you bargain right and want to commit to 175 nights at TTR. Just our 0.02 on being a Canadian and needing regular Sexy Pool fixes.
We got in for our upcoming 8 night stay for 1000 total including airfare for the two of us. Got the alpharoom deal for 400 for the hotel total and got RT airfare for 300 each (flying from Tijuana). Doubt we'll ever see a cancun trip for that cheap again.
We got in on the Alpharooms deal. I took the extra insurance and paid for the bags on Spirit. Total $920 that is $460 per person for a week of fun. Booyah, we booked this prior to our trip in May. It was nice knowing that we had two trips to TTR on deck for the year.
This is the way to do it if you want to go back time & time again. We did our first trip on our own then we became members and now we pay a lot less than we did and get all of the perks. Chris & Tracy
What airline are you flying out / return? stops? Garden or Oceanview? Just trying to compare. We paid just about 2300.00 for 9 nights for the two of us. Jet Blue direct Boston to Cancun. We get there at 10:30 am. Direct flight home too. This includes our transers. Oceanview room.....I "thought" we were getting a good deal???? I have checked the trip weekly since booking and have never seen it cheaper. Right now it's about $500 more for the same booking.
US or Canadian dollars, either way seems a decent but perhaps not the best price anyone's ever posted.
