We've been there over 25 times and it hasn't happened yet. Suz has a former co-worker that goes to TTR but we probably will never go the same time.
Jen comes from a very religious and conservative family. Via Facebook we found out that her cousin would be going to cancun the same time we were. Jen reached out to her cousin who informed us she was going to Temptation resort and that her new boyfriend was taking her. She mentioned she was not familiar with the resort and seemed to have no clue about the concept. Jen shared we would be there too and we should get a drink. We decided to approach it like we did any other trip figuring if she is going to a resort called Temptation or visited the website then she has to have some idea about the place. We arrived a couple days before and awaited their arrival. When they arrived Jen was lying topless in a tiny wicked weasel thong sexy pool side. I ran into the cousin at the sexy pool bar who gave me a hug, introduced me to her boyfriend and his brother (who was also sharing the room with them, I should mention they are lower/mid 20 something's), says something about this place being crazy with a frown and then asks me where is Jen. I proceed to point to her in her thong topless as Jens cousins mouth drops wide open. Oh well. We go over and say hi. For the remainder of the trip we don't see them at the sexy pool. At Patty o's they only sit and watch from one of the white high top tables near the grille. Thought it was very odd that they would come to a place like temptations and be mortified. We partied like rock stars, participated in themes and Jen may of even kissed a girl or two on the dance floor We hoped the secret would stay in cancun and not come up at family events/reunions. But we were definitely worried. Then came the twist after we departed. Friends from ccc informed us it was like the tiger was released from the cage once we left. Clothes got sexier, sexy pool partying began and even some girls were kissed on the dance floor. Go figure. Too bad they wasted 5 days of their vacation waiting and watching. Needless to say the topic has never come up again. Except the cousin asking casually when we are going back again lol. Oh well. Her loss!
Kyle, obviously if Jen was doing that kind of stuff, then what would it matter if the cousins were getting crazy too. Clearly you wouldn't have issue with it, seeing how you were doing it yourselves. It does seem pretty stupid that they would wait until you left to kick it up. Maybe partying right next to one another would have been weird, but the sexy pool has two ends.
The cousin did get crazy afterwards...it was pretty hilarious to watch the change. For me, I have coworkers who like going to cancun, but are JW's so I can't possibly imagine seeing them EVER book a trip to Temptation. For the most part they would have just as much skin in the game being there as you do so it wouldn't be the biggest deal if someone turned up.
In my wife's past occupation, she had to sign a morality clause. Not a religious bash but it's ok do whatever and payback the victims large settlements but a married couple can't have a little fun together where they want? So we would drive an hour or so to the strip bars and partied out of town. Her issue was what if someone sees me here or there? I would always think if you're not supposed to be in an establishment and someone sees you there and says something then should they have been there? Why were they there... We both have our own business now so we don't care either way. As for co-workers, I had a group of my co-workers go to TTR a few years ago. I actually pointed then to CC and I think they did a BC. I wouldn't care if they were there when I was but the wife might. It could make work get togethers a bit more interesting knowing she tends to wear very little when at TTR...
Damn. I am not sure what that states you can't do, but I would never take a job that restricted where I could go outside of work.
Assured mutual destruction is the best way ever to keep secrets! My gf Sharon and I have so much on each other (including pictures!) That if we ever did get mad at each other (not going to happen) we would still keep our secrets, especially knowing what we have on ech other!!
