We went down when Mrs. J4 was pregnant 5 years ago. She was about 4-5 months pregnant and did whatever she felt "up to" . There are a ton of sexy "prego" clothes out there. The Mexican ladies all treated her like a jem, we were upgraded to a ocean view room for her comfort, got complimentary seats on the floor of Coco Bongo's because the door workers saw she was with "nina". We hung by the sexy pool, the quiet pool and the beach. Of the 4 trips, it very easily might have been the most fun over all and only 1 of us was hung over in the morning. Plus, with all of the great restaurants, there was never a hungry moment. Good luck with your decision/dilema, it will be all good!
It looks like it all is going to work out well. Thank you all for your thoughts and ideas. We replaced our Temptation trip with a trip to Garza Blanca Preserve & Spa in Puerto Vallarta (www.garzablancaresort.com) for the last week of February. Looks like an amazing resort that seems to get almost 5 starts with every tripadvisor review (of course it is costing me triple the money though ). Kind of a different type of vacation, very peaceful, gorgeous room and pool and beach. Just seemed more appropriate for pregnancy and two people that really need a rest. I can guarantee it wont compare to temptations. We would of still had a great time at temptations as everyone points out but this seems like the best fit based on our situation and needs in a vacation at this point. Plus we had such an amazing time on our first visit we want to be sure the second lives up to it. Now for the already spent money on the Temptation trip... we decided to not waste it. I am going to go for a long weekend with my buddy whose wife is also pregnant. We are going to send the girls to the Hershey spa in central pa for some much needed relaxation. Everybody wins. It wont be the same without the wife but man it is 5 degrees while I write this. I love the sun. Add in all you can drink and one of my best friends and I am sure we will make sure we get the most out of the trip. Intentionally planning it around things like lingerie night (cant be there with all that going on and no wife ). Will probably do the pool bar hard, play some volleyball and visit the clubs at night. Maybe that new casino too. Looking at either March 25,26,27 or April 8.9,10 or 15,16,17.
Sorry about your bears (and your blackhawks losing all their players and getting embarrassed by the flyers sunday), rough day for chicago. Thanks for the well wishes. Sorry we are not going to get to see you both in week 8. Enjoy and be sure to add a trip report. It doesnt seem like there has been one posted on the site in a while.
Off topic but which club is the best? All the posts seem to be Temtations or Spring Break. Just looking to have a beer with some nice folks. Be there feb 7th-13th
Glad you made a positive decision for both of you. We will look to meet you maybe next year, chances are pretty good we will be returning.
I really don't know. We didn't leave the resort once last time. I hear coco bongos is a must so that will likely be the first stop for us.
J & K, One of our friends died of a heart attack suddenly at age 52. Previously healthy. Keep this simple: GO, while you can, you will have a good time anyway. Just tell everyone there you must cut back on the drinks, and why...,
I just checked out the flight pricing. The April options are double the price of march. Go figure. I thought it would be the opposite due to spring break. Maybe everyone wants to go party with the April group.
