yes or just to add a little extra to the front since you will be doing it so much. We found it came in handy since we went at it 3-4 times a day.
I wouldn't know what to bring either other than a bunch of beach wear. 1. Sony Docking Speakers (check) 2. Massage Oil & spa bubble bath (check) 3. Lube (def check) 4. A mug is a good idea (i'll include it) 5. Flask, maybe (when we go to the bars and clubs) <--don't want to spend more than we have to 6. Dollar bills (okay, so what is normal for cancun, are you tipping every single time you get a drink w/ ure all inclusive?) 7. Special clothes will just depend on the theme nights, right?
$2 breakfast, $2 lunch, $4 dinner, $2 first drink, then sporadically after that. Unless you are at a club then you will have to tip for every single drink. We only go through about $16-$20 per day on tips, unless there is service that was above and beyond the call of duty, then we will up it.
Bring stuff for theme nights even if you're on the fence about participating--it's always good to have the option of joining in. Bring more bathing suits than you think you need--things take forever to dry down there. Tell your girlfriend to throw in a few scandalous bikinis and things for night that would push her normal boundaries. This is the perfect place to wear something that she never could at home. You should have a pair of long pants and a pair of shoes that have closed toes for the restaurants (I've never seen them refuse anyone in sandals, but you wouldn't want to be the first). Bring fewer shorts and shirts for day than you think you need. You'll probably be in your suit all day, then dress just for dinner.
Bring more sunscreen then you could ever possibly think you could need... Its EXPENSIVE there... If I recall, some said they were upwards of $40/bottle... A cup/mug is also a good idea... The drink cups they have are like 6 ounces so you are always going back and forth.. We typically did similar tipping... $2 breakfast, $2 lunch, typically $10 dinner depending where we went, and we would try to tip $1 a round regardless how many drinks we got... Or if it was at Paty O's sometimes I would just tip $10 up front and typically they would remember me when times got busy. We did have one time where three of us each tipped a waitress at paty o's $10 for a round, and she was SLOWWWW all night... But she seemed a little lost all around lol
Bottle of lime juice for the dos xxs. Energy powder for the water to replace electrolytes. Cheap extra hangers. Mr. Snuggles the Teddy bear for nightmares. Sock for lingerie night.
+1 on bringing Rose's Lime Juice. I forgot mine and they don't seem to sell it anywhere. I tried both markets across the street and even Walmart. People don't even know what it is.
